Irish draught cross thoroughbred. Standing at 17hh rising 9yrs. She is a big stamp of a horse with a sweet personality.
Brought 6 months ago as a blank canvas and to start her education. She has proven herself to show a keen eye and willing to learn in any discipline. She is proving to really enjoy her showjumping at home!
Hope has a natural big scope and enjoys jumping. The bigger the better. She needs a competent rider to continue her education and is not a novice ride not because she naughty but because she’s a big powerful horse with a massive jump.
Currently being ridden by a very competent 14 year old and an experienced adult.
With previous owner in Ireland she has been out cubbing and proven to enjoy it. Ideally she would suit being a hunt horse but would also excel in a showjumping career.
Hope has beautiful paces. Her lateral work over the last 6 months has really progressed. She would gain great scores in a dressage test. Hope enjoys pole work, raised poles and also grid work.
Hope is very pleasant to handle, shoe, load, travel, feed and catch. She has been clipped but needs reassurance as she is slightly nervous. Good around other horses and has a chilled temperament.
Unfortunately Hope is a horse that enjoys daily turn out and is not enjoying being in over the Winter days. Lack of turn out forces sale as this will be the same yearly and not fair to make her miserable.
Hope has had hobday procedure at 4 years old and has had clearance from the vet.
