Seamus is a gentleman of a horse, has hunted this season with the Middleton and has proven very bold, goes first or last, stands politely at the meet, good with hounds & happy to go away from the field if needed, he has jumped everything asked of him including some very sizeable hedges, has also hunted in Ireland previously.
Has showjumped up to 1.15 in Ireland & his first outing at a competition in England was a few days ago with myself where he finished a very close 2nd in a competitive class of 14, very careful & scopey. Hacks alone, in company, good in very heavy traffic. Good to shoe, catch, box, & falls asleep when clipping.
Would make an excellent versatile horse for a competitive young rider that wishes to hunt & compete. We are currently working on his flat schooling, he is very balanced and moves well but he just needs fine tuning before he would be ready for a dressage test.
No novices please, he's still young and sometimes needs someone to give him confidence. 5* competition home only for this special boy, I wish I could keep him for myself but sadly I have the job of selling him on behalf of a family member.
