Gorgeous affectionate OTTB to part share 2-3 days a week, Plumpton

Experienced, committed, confident and kind, TB rider wanted for horse share 2-4 days/week. Dewie is a fine, clever, sharp ex track TB gelding, 16 yo gorgeous affectionate horse. He is safe, doesn't bolt, bronc or rear. He can stall or be nappy.

After years of training and stability he is happy, and safe. He loves his pampering, pole work, hacks, dressage and games. He needs stimulation and work. Despite being 16 he's still curious (green even) and needs encouragement and reassurance. Doesn't load well. He's happy doing pretty much anything that gets him thinking. He was a steeplechaser; he does jump but this will need time.

He's barefoot, and safe as houses in traffic. He needs a firm rider with a light touch, good balance. Hacks out brilliantly alone or in groups,

either on exceptional farm land, or in the sand arena/school on site.

He ADORES hacking, pole work and dressage. He's extremely smart, a complete trier, and a team player. Long floaty strides. He needs a couple of good long hacks a week to keep him chilled.

I am experiencing various long term chronic health issues which prevent me from being able to ride and look after him on my own.

I want him to treat him as your own- chores are needed, and there are plenty of people to ride out with. There's also riding instructors available to teach/support.

This is not a 'return to riding' horse we need someone who understands TB's, (or Arabs) with over 10 years of riding experience. No one straight out of riding school. Also- due to insurance issues, no unaccompanied under 20's.

I would like someone who can commit 2-4 days a week, (flexible /negotiation) and there are yard duties (feeds, haynets,

stable clean). This is an ideal situation for someone who'd like to care for their own horse but can't commit full time to it.

He lives on a massive farm in the exceptional Plumpton Green : a huge, private, wonderful, supportive friendly livery with 1000's of acres of off-road riding. It's assisted livery, 15-25 minutes from Brighton, Hassocks, 10 mins from Lewes. DM me for exact location. Train station and bus nearby but own transport preferred.

£130pcm, and I will use a BHS sharer agreement. I look forward to meeting you.
