Description

Dougal is a 7 year old TB who is well handled and easy to do in every way. He is offset at the knee on his near fore, this in turn leaves his foot wonky, which is the reason we never broke him in to race. In saying that he could be backed if someone was sympathetic to his knee and foot! Dougal is very sweet and gets on with most horses but he can be bossy at feed time depending on his field mates!

We got him as a yearling and he was very nervous but with love and tlc he came around.

Problems

Dougal is not broken to ride. Can provide a rug and head collar if needed.

Health Issues

Dougal is wormed and will be restarting his vaccinations. He has no health issues. He does need a decent farrier to trim his wonky foot!

Ideal Home

Dougal has been a companion for a horse on box rest previously and did his job brilliantly. He can live in or out and is a good doer. He is rugged in the winter. He loves to be loved and I think he would fit in to most places. He has been lunged in his youth and been on a horse walker.
