Shire Mare 11 years old

My Shire mare is back up for permanent loan. It's not her fault. I just don't have enough time for her and she needs someone who can give her the time and love she disurves. Gem must be loaned as close to Somerton, Somerset, as possible!

She also is not suitable for a novice rider she needs someone with good equestrian knowledge ( preferably heavy horses) that has the time to bring her fully back in to work get her fit agen. She need someone with time to keep on top of her sweet-ich treatment though out the summer season. Aswell as happy to correct napping behavior and iron out any other little habits she's got. She can be ridden with or with out company but she proffers with.

Gem is a lovely 11 year old shire mare. She has sweet-ich, so she needs a little more TLC than most horses. She's been brought back in to work the last few months and has been ridden since January. Although she has recently started napping when out ridnding, So this will need some attention. She's a mare and is a little quirky, and has been out of work for 5 years prior to this last few months. She loves hacking and is great with traffic. She is used to farm machinery and is pretty much bomprofe. Gem is always keen to lurn and is overall quite forward but steady. She is barefoot, so most of her work is off-road hacking. I have a 2-year-old daughter who loves seeing her dearly, as do my parents, so I'd like her to be someware that we could come visit her. I'd also love for Iris and myself to have occasional rides! Gem is a loving horse and has been around children and had them on her back when in the stable. She has also been very used to cows, chickens, sheep, and pigs; she isn't bothered by any of them and would often have piglets and lambs come see her in her padock. She loves attention and really needs someone who can give her a fair bit of time and love and has experience with heavy horses. She's not a beginners horse and needs someone with good equestrian knowledge who is prepared to carry on and bring her back in to work fully. That woudlp be happy to Ironing out some naughty behaviour and getting her fit agen. I'd really love for someone to fully loan her out permanently. She's up to date with her teeth and feet.
