Create my profile now!We have for sale the exquisitely beautiful Mellow. Bought for my grandson 4 years ago, they did a few shows and excelled at them all in the lead rein and in hand showing. Winning firsts and seconds then reserve champion. He’s now grown out of her and she’s a mud hippo living her best life, but she’s too good to waste and she deserves to go and shine in the show ring again. Mellow stands at 12hh, well put together with a lovely movement. She will stand for long periods of time to be groomed and petted, is great around children. She fantastic to trim, clip, plait, bath, lunge and loads perfectly. Having been a field ornament over the past 2 years, Mellow now needs to be brought back into work, with regular work she rides lovely in the school. But recently as work is so sporadic she may have a little nap and buck at the gate in the school nothing nasty you just need to push her on. Once she realises you mean business she gets on with it. She is still quite green and needs fine tuning again. With regular work Mellow thrives and works very well. She’s fantastic on the roads and out hacking, but because she’s still quite green she could have the odd spook, no bolting just a little start and with reassurance will carry on. She can be quite bossy in field, she runs with a big mixed herd of 14 and they are all very settled. But mellow is one of the more dominant ones, she seems to prefer mare’s company. Mellow is a 2nd pony, but I have had novices on her with lead rein, but she will need a competent little jockey to make her shine and bring her back into full time work. For that reason she’s available at a realistic £2500 for a little project for the showing season this summer. Videos available.
