Create my profile now!During last summer (2023) we noticed he wasn't 100% comfortable, and found kissing spine. He has had this injected with much success, and has done all his rehabbing, long lining and on the water treadmill. He has been back hacking for many months comfortably.
He is a lovely ride, but obviously needs to continue to be ridden in a frame, in order to keep his back muscles strong and prevent any recurrence. This means he needs a fairly knowledgeable home, he would suit someone looking for a kind horse who knows how to ride but is more interested in building a partnership with a horse than being out competing every weekend!
That said, there is no reason why Togo couldn't build up to doing everything in time, he's very nice on the flat. He is for sale as we have too many, and need more time to do him justice!
He is a complete gentleman on the ground, he can be slightly sensitive to rugs and the saddle in cold/ wet weather. This also makes him occasionally cold-backed.
We will require references, but to the right home his price is very negotiable.
