Super fun 14HH coloured cob project

Tom (14HH approx) 13 year old Fell x Traditional gelding

Re-advertised due to no fault of his own.

Tom has been turned out all winter since returning from his long term loan home in the autumn.

Now for sale from the field in his scruffs.

Tom has a fabulous nature, very easy to do - feet, clip, catch (comes to you), load, bath etc. Lives out or in/out. Great feet and lives on fresh air. Has mainly been used for hacking and jumping this last few years while he’s been out on loan.

Tom is the sweetest “people person” pony with a big personality who will try his heart out for the right person.

He had a great education and was well-schooled with lateral work, walk to canter, rein back - I'm sure these would come back to him no problem with the right schooling.

In the past he has done a bit of everything – showjumped 60-80cm, dressage placed at novice (schooled elementary), XC (including steps, drops, hedges, ditches, water - competed intermediate at YAS HT) , many Trec competitions wins/placings, in hand and ridden showing (Reserve Champion Bishop Wilton, always placed), Riding Club (including YDRC horse of the year 2017).

Not suitable for nervous or novice as he used to get a bit joggy and excited in company and can also be a pushy cob at times, but with no malice. Hacks well alone, not 100% with lorries/tractors. Probably better suited to an adult who wants to do a bit of everything (takes up the leg).

Excellent home top priority. Sorry no loans. Price reflects he is effectively sold from the field as he's not done anything for nearly 5 months (been turned away over winter) and needs bringing back into work and no doubt some schooling, no trial facilities.

Tom will make a super project and is looking for a knowledgeable, confident but sympathetic home with lots of time and love to give him to get him back working at a good level. In return he will be your best friend. Home is of the utmost importance.
