Create my profile now!We bought her when she just turned two, she was turned out for a year to grow. Shes not long been sent away to be broken, she’s been ridden on a few hacks and in the fields, but not much more than that. She is great, not had any issues in traffic nor while being ridden, she can be rather laid back to ride, only thing she isn’t keen on is big machinery, ie/ tractors , lorries, although she lives on a farm so is getting used to them slowly.
She has hacked alone and with other horses and she has been fine.
She could do with schooling and bringing on further, however we had to stop as my daughter got accepted into a the football academy and has since not had any time to ride her, So is currently turned out and not been ridden for approx 3 months.
She is still shy with being led, so does tend to stop and then go again, basically can be stubborn. Lungeing she takes time to see what you’re asking of her, but she understands eventually after 10-15mins and is then fine. She is still a bit fiery in the field with other horses, she will dominate other horses, but does settle after being turned out for over two weeks.
She’s good kept in or turned out. Fine with rugs on and off, she loves a good brush, can be sensitive on her back legs being brushed, I asked the previous owner if this was because of anything in particular , but apparently she’s just ticklish.
She will have her hooves trimmed by the farrier and a vet check before she goes to ensure she is in full health.
I’ve been as honest as I can about her and hope I haven’t missed anything, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. It’s a shame that she won’t be used now and simply turned out, she needs someone who can work on her now and bring her on , someone who has patience and time for her as she is still learning with everything.
