DANGER MOUSE - after the funny kids' TV cartoon character - is a handsome approx. 11hh, sensible, kind dapple grey, Welsh A 5 year old GELDING come KIDS' LEAD REIN, PONY CLUB & FIRST RIDDEN PROJECT with lovely long flowy 'unicorn' mane & tail.

From old show breeders who bred show ponies for good nature.

Sadly, however, being near 90 they could no longer see to them.

Unlike what the name may suggests, Danger Mouse is is an exceptionally good natured, now well-handled, calm, easy for a child to tack up, child/disabled friendly pony. Yet still young, fit & unspoiled enough to be willing to learn, do new things & have children fuss over him.

Might also be of interest to a PETTING ZOO, RIDING SCHOOL, the RDA, SMALL THERAPY/PARTY PONY BUSINESS, OLDER PERSON looking for an easy to handle pony for their GRANDKIDS, someone needing THERA-PET for a DISABLED PERSON or a COMPANION for an old pony.

Microchipped & passported. Gelded. Had course of the best wormers. Fully up to date with 1st, 2nd & 3rd Flue vaccinations.

Was super for the vets.

Feet checked & trimmed every six weeks.

Easy to pick all four feet & good for the farrier.

Has been through standard isolation & observation period on arrival & not shown any signs of sickness, laminitis, sweet itch, past injuries, lumps or bumps.

Did develop some stifle lock as part of his growing.

This was vet checked.

Is fast improving with right exercise, as the senior vet predicted. Said he should come fully right & make a fantastic kids' pony.

The more (within reason) walks & rides out the better.

Been well-handled, tamed & trained here for a year now.

A delight to work with & a real favourite with everyone. Been fine with other young & old mares, colts & geldings too.

Shared paddock & pens with them no problem as so peaceful.

In the paddock playful & watchful over them.

Easy to catch (call over) get head collar on & lead.

Could benefit from seeing more, doing fun trips to the beach etc.

Learns quickly.

Often kids just put a lead around his neck to walk him.

He follows them too without any lead up & down.

Been easy to tie up, brush, wash, pick feet, rug up, tack up, dress up, pleat, jab, shave, spray etc.

Well-loved but not spoiled nor given treats hence not been a kicker, biter, bully or strong draggy pony like so many older ponies.

Been motherly to weak foals, the disabled & small kids - so sweet!

Was never coltish even before gelding.

Used to being walked, lunged & long reined in tack with weights.

Chilled about it.

Has had a kid sit on him - and he was fine even with a storm shaking the metal barn he was in.

Just needs some some one with a small child to finish backing him.

It should not take long if done kindly.

Will love a job & a little jockey of his own.

Sadly we don't have one small enough often enough.

Not perfect but genuinely a one-in-a-million unspoiled young pony.

His re-homing fee is £1,200, not for profit, as seen, to kind home.

Ownership & passport transferred & signed receipt given.

Not a loan or lease pony - upon full payment pony is yours!

If we cant trust you to own it we wont trust you with it at all.

Please no producers or dealers.

The right person, family, small pony business or petting zoo can easily turn him into a good lead rein pony themselves.

Just need some commitment, consistency & willingness to learn.

Likely someone on the yard/farm will be happy to help.

The most expensive & time consuming work has already been done.

He is also so pleasant & easy to work with.

My daughter will be happy to give some one pointers to get started.

CHEAP COST PRICE TRANSPORT can usually be arranged the same or next day to suitable home anywhere in the UK, but not unseen. Happy to give a quote - likely cheapest & quickest you can get as we don't charge for our time or any stays.

few people appreciate or look well after cost them nothing.

Also our ponies have to eat & farm bills have to be paid.

Good people don't mind supporting a rescue centre.

Nor can we take any pony to your garden, a mud puddle, filthy dealer's yard or to be fly grazed somewhere even if you are nice.

We love him and have put a lot into him.

We want him to get the good home he deserves.

Animal lovers will understand.
