Create my profile now!He is ridden by both my children who are currently 9 and 7 years old. He is as sensible and level headed as a Shetland can be. He schools well and is confident on hacks. He is very good in traffic but we always have someone on the ground due to having young and nervous jockeys. He’s super friendly and well mannered. I would go as far as to say he’s the yard favourite. He is happy to be fussed all day every day by excitable children and is never nasty. He can be nibbly on occasion due to anticipating carrots but has never bitten or kicked!
I am looking for a part loaner 2/3 days a week for a financial contribution. We are on a very nice clean yard in New Farnley, Leeds. He would have to stay on the yard and there’s no view to buy. He is on DIY livery so you would be responsible for his care on your days. This includes mucking out, filling hay nets etc.
Archie would suit a family with a young jockey 7 years + who has had or is having riding lessons and wants the freedom to ride and spend more time getting to know ponies and horses.
