Welsh Sec D Gelding
An attractive and correct model Welsh Cob gelding bred by the well known Derwen International Welsh Cob Centre, Ceredigion.
Dickie is a super sort with a potential for any sphere as many of the Derwen cobs have proven to be successful in disciplines from in the show ring to dressage, jumping and driving. Riding well and schooling nicely on the flat, over poles and introduced to jumping with a good attitude.
Goes well off the leg and has a soft mouth, works in an outline delivering some super work in the arena and would be easily capable of doing a smart dressage test.
Dickie hacks out alone and in company well. Is great with other ponies and proves to be sensible in open spaces, bridleways and tracks out hacking. Has no ridden vices.
He is straightforward to do in the stable, is well mannered to turn out and gets on with other horses. He is super to tack up, groom and have his feet picked out etc. Stands for the farrier. Currently kept on a busy yard with dogs and children and is well behaved.
Clean limbed, has a trainable attitude and is quick learning, is a forward ride so wouldn’t be suitable for a novice.
Dickie is looking for a fun and competent home through no fault of his own to bring out the best in him.
